Speech Therapist

Talk On, LLC is looking for a passionate and talented speech-language pathologist to join our growing practice. We currently offer speech and occupational therapy and employ a combination of full and part time therapists. Come join a practice with passionate therapists and caring administrative staff and an owner who is passionate about supporting other clinicians. Our clinic's therapy rooms are newly updated and is in close proximity to local restaurants and stores.

The ideal candidate enjoys supporting children and adults with communication disorders, takes time to learn about client's individual differences and needs, builds relationships with clients and families, uses evidence based strategies and focuses on developmentally appropriate and functional outcomes. Position will start as part time with possibility to grow to full time. After school hours needed. Current position has built in part-time caseload Tuesdays (10:15a-6:15p), Thursdays (9:45a-5:30p).

Candidates must:

  • have an Ohio license

  • be a very strong CF or hold CCC-SLP

  • hold an Ohio pupil services license

 

Responsibilities: (not an exhaustive list):

-provide high quality, individualized speech-language therapy to families

-demonstrate knowledge and ability to apply concepts of child centered, developmental, and relationship based practice and understanding of neurodiversity

-complete documentation in a timely manner

-communicate professionally and effectively with families

-meet physical demands of job which may include spending time sitting, standing, lifting, bending

-adhere to clinic policies to maintain a safe work environment

-All other duties that pertain to furthering client care

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Occupational Therapist Assistant

 

Talk On, LLC is looking for a motivated, energetic COTA to join our growing team. Come join a therapist owned and operated company that cares about our clients AND our therapists.

Talk On is a pediatric therapy practice located in Kent, Ohio. We use a developmental and relationship based approach to support our clients and families. Our services are neurodiversity affirming.

Settings: Services will be delivered in a private practice setting (Kent, Ohio).

Hours- Part time position. Ideal candidate will have daytime availability, as well as some after school availability for in clinic sessions, but scheduling can be flexible

Speciality: The ideal candidate would have an interest or speciality in the sensory system along with knowledge of the other areas in the OT framework pertaining to pediatrics.

Current Benefits: Professional development assistance

Duties:

-Follow occupational therapy plans of care

-Provide ethical, evidence based, effective, patient centered occupational therapy

-Ethically and effectively work with supervising OTRs

-Complete timely, accurate documentation including daily notes, progress reports.

-Monitor and report progress and work with OTRs to update POCs as necessary.

-Consult with other therapy staff as needed

-Provide caregiver training to facilitate generalization of skills

Requirements:

-COTA

-Current Ohio license

-Ability to pass FBI and BCI background check

-Professional liability insurance

-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals through American Heart Association

-Must be able to meet physical demands of working with the pediatric population, including but not limited to the ability to stand for long periods of time, sit, bend over, squat, lift 50 pounds.
